The Hungarian Chapter of the American Chemical Society Establishes the “Csaba Horváth Memorial Lectureship”; The Inauguration Presentation Will Be Given by Professor Barry L. Karger of the Barnett Institute, Northeastern University
BOSTON, MA and BUDAPEST, HUNGARY–(Marketwire – March 18, 2010) – The

American Chemical Society (ACS HC) announced today the establishment of
the “Csaba Horváth Memorial Lectureship” to honor distinguished scientists
and sustain the memory of Professor Csaba Horváth (1930-2004), a great
Hungarian separation scientist, who was a professor of Chemical Engineering
at Yale University (New Haven, CT). Professor Horváth is well known as one
of the fathers of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
